Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese word which translates as "shi" for finger, and "atsu" for pressure. Shiatsu is a form of Asian Bodywork which is conducted fully clothed using acupressure points, rotations and stretches to help release both emotional and physical blockages. Shiatsu offers a holistic approach to healing the body; it treats the body as a whole, creating a balance of mind and body.

A Shiatsu session is beneficial for relief from headaches; neck, shoulder and back pain; anxiety; stress; irritability; and overall mental clarity. Shiatsu assists in providing pain management, relieving muscle soreness and joint pain while releasing toxins and impurities from your body. Shiatsu also helps people who suffer from insomnia and fibromyalgia.
What is Shiatsu?
Shiatsu is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, dating back to over 5,000 years. Shiatsu works with acupressure points stimulating the same points as an acupuncturist, but instead of needling, uses gentle but firm finger pressure along meridians or pathways connecting the acupressure points to your internal organs. Energy known as Qi (chee) or Ki (key) flows through the meridians circulating healing energy to all systems of the body, releasing muscular tension, promoting circulation of blood and fluids, and releasing and eliminating toxins to restore well-being. Shiatsu promotes greater health and mental clarity, balancing the mind and body. A full Shiatsu session is approximately one to one and a half hours.

Full Shiatsu Session at my Facility (1 to 1 1/2 hour session).....................$75.000 (plus tax)
